Jason Ginas is an experienced maritime professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Captain at Tidewater Barge Lines since January 2012, Jason operates tugboats on the Columbia and Snake Rivers. Prior experience includes roles as Mate/Vessel Operator at Moran Towing and Transportation and Olympic Tug and Barge, where Jason developed expertise in towing and navigation in various coastal and inland waterways. Beginning a career at Moran Towing in New York Harbor, Jason honed skills in boat handling and seamanship. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology and Oceanography from the State University of New York Maritime College, completed in 1992.
