Makoto Kurihara

Makoto Kurihara has worked as an Automotive Engineer at Honda Research Institute Japan Co. Ltd. from April 2013 to October 2019. As of October 2019, Kurihara holds the position of Autonomous Driving Software Engineer at Tier IV.

Makoto Kurihara has a strong educational background in the field of engineering. Between 2007 and 2011, they attended The University of Tokyo where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechano-Informatics. Makoto furthered their education at the same institution from 2011 to 2013 and obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Information Science and Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Makoto Kurihara has also pursued further certification in the field of self-driving cars. Makoto is currently enrolled in the Self-Driving Car Engineer Nanodegree program at Udacity. Although the details of this certification are not provided, it is expected that Makoto will complete the program and earn the certification by June 2019.
