Tier IV
Yu Asabe has a diverse work experience that includes being a Software Engineer at TIER IV starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they co-founded Gracia Inc. in 2017, where they served as the Co-Founder and CTO. At Gracia, they led the engineering team and developed an e-commerce site called TANP that focused on gifts and presents for special occasions. Additionally, Yu worked as an intern at Dreamit Ventures in 2017, where they contributed to market analysis for e-tech and health tech startups and assisted in conducting startup interviews for an acceleration program cohort.
Yu Asabe has a strong educational background in computer science and engineering. From 2010 to 2016, Yu attended Shibuya Makuhari Junior and Senior High School. Following this, from 2016 to 2021, Yu pursued a Bachelor's degree at The University of Tokyo, specializing in computer science and engineering. During this time, Yu also obtained the Test in Practical English Proficiency Grade 1 certification from the Eiken Foundation of Japan in June 2009. Currently, Yu is pursuing a Master's degree at The University of Tokyo, focusing on Cooperative Intelligent Transportation Systems and Cyber Physical Systems.
