Kumar Aman

Kumar Aman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data management and engineering. Currently serving as the Head of Data Platform at TIER Mobility since January 2019, Kumar leads a team of 12 in the migration of the data stack following the Tier<>Dott merger, while aligning team goals with the company’s strategic objectives. Previous roles at TIER include Lead Data Engineer, where Kumar managed a team to enhance developer productivity, and Senior Analytics Engineer, where cost optimization strategies saved the company approximately €300k. Kumar's career also includes positions at Reliance and Tata Motors, alongside research work at the Indian Institute of Science, culminating in a published paper. Kumar holds a Master's in Management with a focus on the Internet of Things from ESCP Business School, a Master's degree in Business Analytics from BI Norwegian Business School, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
