Arto Vainiomaki

Arto Vainiomaki has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Arto started their career as a Treasury Manager and Assistant Controller at JOT Group of Companies in 1988. Arto then went on to serve as the MD and CFO at JOT Group of Companies, Int'll Meehanite Metal Co Ltd from 1991 to 1993. After that, they worked as the Group Controller at JOT Group of Companies from 1994 to 1995.

In 1995, Vainiomaki joined Nokia Siemens Networks and held various roles including Service Area Controller for North Europe, Service Area Controller for China, Area Controller for China, Head of F&C for Delivery and Maintenance Services globally, Business Unit Controller for Operations Solutions, and Service Region Controller for CEMEA, NET Area F&C Coach in the Middle East and Pakistan. Arto also served as the Region Controller for Greater China and Region Controller for MEA.

From 2013 to 2015, Vainiomaki worked at Coriant, Inc. as the CFO for the Asia Middle East and Africa regions, overseeing all CFO function activities including customer operations and legal entities, statutory reporting and filings, revenue recognition compliance, and internal controls.

In 2016, they became the Group CFO at In4mo Oy and from 2018, Vainiomaki has been serving as the Director of Finance, HR, and Administration at Kuntien Tiera Oy.

Throughout their career, Vainiomaki has demonstrated expertise and accountability in financial and controlling roles, statutory accounting, reporting and audit, policy implementation, F&C support and coaching, and process improvement.

Arto Vainiomaki completed their education at the University of Tampere from 1983 to 1988. During this time, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Business/Managerial Economics.
