Erik Forsström

Erik Forsström has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Erik is currently employed as an Information Technology Solutions Architect at Kuntien Tiera Oy, where they work with the Efecte ITSM system to provide solutions for customers and manage the day-to-day tasks and internal development of the service management system. Erik is also a Voice Over Artist at EF Voice.

Prior to their current roles, Erik worked at Istekki Oy for more than a decade. Erik held various positions, including Senior ITSM Specialist, Release and Deployment Process Manager, Change Manager, Knowledge Manager, and Software Designer. In these roles, they were responsible for process management, consulting, and development of IT Service Management Systems and documentation management systems. Erik also took charge of the Change Management Process and was accountable for knowledge management within the organization.

Earlier in their career, Erik worked as an Application and Software Designer at Kuopion kaupunki, specializing in www-based programming. Erik also had a brief stint as a Software Designer at Absblue Technologies.

Throughout their career, Erik has gained expertise in ITSM systems, process management, documentation, software development, and website programming.

Erik Forsström earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Eastern Finland, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Erik obtained several certifications in ITIL from different institutions. In November 2012, they obtained the ITIL v3 Foundation certification from DF Certifiering AB. Subsequently, they earned the ITIL Intermediate Certificate in Service Design in April 2013, the ITIL Intermediate Certificate in Service Transition in June 2013, the ITIL Intermediate Certificate in Service Strategy in December 2013, and the ITIL Intermediate Certificate in Service Operation in January 2014. Erik also achieved the ITIL® Expert and the ITIL Intermediate Managing Across the Lifecycle certifications from DF Certifiering AB in April 2014.
