Erkka Hakkarainen

Erkka Hakkarainen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Erkka began their career as a Project Manager at YTI-Instituutti in February 1998 and served in that role until October 2000. Erkka then joined Metsäpuu Oy (now Domus Yhtiöt Oy) as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) in November 2000 and continued in that position until January 2008. Following that, they joined Domus Yhtiöt Oy and held the roles of CIO from January 2008 to May 2017 and CIT from May 2017 to January 2019. Erkka also served as the Chief of IT at Domus Yhtiöt Oy (bankruptcy administration) from January 2019 to September 2019. In May 2019, they joined Fenestra Suomi Oy as an IT Consultant and worked there until June 2020. Since September 2019, they have been working at Kuntien Tiera Oy, first as a Solution Consultant until August 2021, and then transitioning to the role of IT Partnership Architect from August 2021 onwards. Throughout their career, Erkka Hakkarainen has gained extensive expertise in IT consulting, architecture, and management roles.

Erkka Hakkarainen's education history includes a range of degrees and fields of study. In 1994, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Export, Marketing & Logistics from Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences. In 1996, they briefly attended Molde University College, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management. Continuing their education, Erkka Hakkarainen earned a Master's Degree in Information Management, IT, ICT, eBusiness from LUT University between 2000 and 2002. Most recently, from 2019 to 2021, they completed an extended professional education program in Research and Development Management at Rastor-instituutti.
