Iiro Peltokangas

Iiro Peltokangas has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and positions. Iiro worked as a Software Developer at Kuntien Tiera Oy, starting in 2023. Prior to this, Iiro worked at Vincit from 2015 to 2023, where they held multiple roles such as Software Project Lead and Senior Software Developer. Iiro'sresponsibilities included web application development using various technologies such as AWS, PostgreSQL, Java Spring/Spring Boot, Kotlin, Node, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Redux. Iiro also worked as a Software Developer at GE Healthcare for four years, developing software for patient monitors using Linux, C++ 11/14, and Python. Before that, they worked at Microsoft as an Engineer, focusing on Imaging SW Verification. In 2012, Iiro started their professional career at Nokia, where they worked in various positions, including Engineer and Thesis Worker, focusing on imaging SW verification and camera test automation development. Iiro also worked as a summer trainee at Nokia, where they conducted camera test assets and contributed to bug reporting and debugging. Iiro's work experience also includes a brief trainee position at Skanska kodit Oy in 2011.

Iiro Peltokangas obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Software Engineering and Embedded Systems from Tampere University of Technology during the years 2006 to 2013. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Software Engineering at the same university from 2012 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Iiro Peltokangas has also acquired several certifications. These include a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from MoreSteam.com LLC in December 2013, a Digital Camera Systems certification from CEI-Europe AB in November 2013, and a Certified Tester, Foundation Level (CTFL) from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in September 2013.
