Katju Lähteenaro has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In 2012, they started their career as a Sales Assistant at Stockmann and held this position until 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at XXL Sport & Villmark as a Sales Assistant, then became an Assistant Department Leader for a brief period before being promoted to Department Leader.
In 2018, Lähteenaro joined Skyline Queenstown, the largest hospitality and tourism company in New Zealand, as an Activities Shift Leader & Supervisor. They worked in this role until 2019. Subsequently, they joined Hybridd as a Sales Consultant in Melbourne, holding the position from late 2019 to early 2020.
In 2016, Lähteenaro co-founded Rehaboo!, a DigitalHealth startup that focused on cloud-based AI exercise games without wearables. As the COO and Co-Founder, they were responsible for overseeing the company's operations until 2021.
In 2021, Lähteenaro worked as a Service Coordinator at Mehiläinen from November to May. Later that year, they co-founded LEVER Oy where they currently hold a position as a Co-Founder.
Finally, in May 2022, Lähteenaro joined Kuntien Tiera Oy as a Project Manager for Digital Solutions.
Katju Lähteenaro began their education in 2009 at Pohjois-Haagan urheilulukio, where they graduated from high school in 2013. Katju then attended Metropolia University of Applied Sciences from 2013 to 2016, earning a Bachelor's degree in Podiatric Medicine/Podiatry. In 2016, they briefly studied at Universidad de Málaga in the same field. In 2017 and 2018, they pursued further education at Amiedu, completing a KEAT degree in Specialist Qualification for Shop Managers.
