Saara-Maria Sormunen

Saara-Maria Sormunen has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. Saara-Maria began their career as a Software Developer at the University of Kuopio, Computing Centre in 1999 and worked there until 2003. Saara-Maria then worked as a Software Developer at LAN Force Oy from 2005 to 2007. In 2014, they joined Tieto ja Kone as an ICT-asiantuntija and continued in that role until 2019. Saara-Maria then became a Järjestelmäasiantuntija at Siilinjärven kunta, where they worked from 2019 to 2020. Currently, Saara-Maria is working as an IT-asiantuntija at Kuntien Tiera Oy, starting in October 2020.

Saara-Maria Sormunen obtained their MSc degree in Computer Science from the University of Eastern Finland, where they studied from 1996 to 2004.
