Tuomo Toikka

Tuomo Toikka has strong experience in the field of IT and information systems. Tuomo currently works as an IT Partnership Architect at Kuntien Tiera Oy since 2023. Previously, they served as an ICT Technical Lead at ARE Oy from 2019 to 2023.

Tuomo's longest tenure was at The Central Church Fund, ELCF where they held multiple roles. From 2010 to 2019, they were an Information System Manager, leading a team responsible for nationwide Microsoft-based platforms, systems, and services. Tuomo also served as a Program Manager from 2009 to 2010, overseeing the planning, development, and deployment of identity management and access services.

Before that, Tuomo worked as an Information Technology Consultant at Espoo Parish Union from 2017 to 2018. Their responsibilities included consulting on internal process development and project assistance for deploying centralized IT systems.

Their earliest experience was with Church Counsil, ELCF, where they worked as a System Administrator from 2008 to 2009 and as an IT Support Specialist from 2002 to 2008. In these roles, they provided end-user support, maintained servers and services, and worked in a Windows environment.

Tuomo Toikka obtained their Bachelor's degree in Information Systems and data communications from Laurea University of Applied Sciences. Tuomo completed this degree between the years 2006 and 2007. In addition to their degree, they also acquired several certifications. These include the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft, which they obtained in February 2020. Tuomo also obtained the Microsoft Service Adoption Specialist certification from edX in April 2019 and the Elements of AI certification from the University of Helsinki and Reaktor in July 2018.
