Michael Bair has over 20 years of work experience. Michael started their career in 1996 as a Laboratory Technician at Professional Service Industries, Inc. (PSI), where they worked until 1997. From 1997 to 2000, they worked as a Staff Scientist at PSI, primarily conducting field sampling and environmental surveys. Michael then served as a Project Scientist from 2000 to 2001 and as a Project Manager from 2001 to 2005, also at PSI. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Department Manager at PSI, overseeing daily operations and managing a staff of 20-25 professionals. From 2007 to 2015, they held the position of Principal Consultant at PSI, where they were responsible for technical review of environmental proposals and reports. In 2015, Bair joined Tierra Inc as the Chief Scientist, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the contamination department, performing environmental assessments, and managing projects and budgets. Overall, Bair has a diverse range of experience in environmental consulting and management.

Michael Bair earned a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Biology from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL between 1989 and 1994. Michael also attended Kiski Prep in Saltsburg, PA from 1985 to 1989. Additionally, Michael obtained the Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals and the Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP) certification from the INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF TECHNICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROFESSIONALS INC. The specific years when they obtained these certifications are unknown. Michael has also pursued post-graduate studies in Safety Management at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL, although the duration and completion of this program are not provided.
