Jarkko Turunen

Jarkko Turunen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and business development within the payments and liquidity management sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Product Management and Business Development at Tietoevry since January 2019, Jarkko leads a software product management team focused on enhancing banking services. In February 2023, Jarkko became the Managing Director of Tietoevry Pay Oy, where responsibilities include company establishment and securing a PSP license from the Finnish FSA. Previous roles at Nordea spanned from VP positions in Open Banking and Global Payment Services to heading the CM Application Management sub-unit. Earlier career experiences include key roles at TietoEnator Banking & Insurance Oy and Dycom Oy, where Jarkko focused on business development, product management, and technology consulting. Jarkko holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Marketing, and Mathematics from the University of Helsinki.
