Jarmo Ropponen

Jarmo Ropponen is an experienced executive in the technology and service sectors, currently serving as Head of Asia-Pacific, Head of Tissue, and CEO for Malaysia at Tietoevry since January 2020. Previously, Ropponen held the role of Head of Sales and Marketing for the Global Pulp and Paper Industry at Tieto from August 2002 to January 2020. Ropponen's earlier experience includes various leadership positions at Honeywell, such as Location Manager (CoE) and EMEA Service Business Head, as well as Project Manager and System Design Engineer at Ahlstrom. Ropponen holds a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, and Statistics from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland.
