Jyri Kivinen

Jyri Kivinen serves as the Vice President and Head of Energy & Utilities at Tietoevry since October 2019, overseeing a software business with Nordic and global development teams primarily focused on the energy sector. Kivinen is responsible for the overall strategy and profit and loss for a 200-member business unit. Previously, Kivinen held various positions at Tieto from 2010 to 2019, including Strategy & Business Development Manager and Senior Business Developer, focusing on distributed energy resources and smart grid solutions. Kivinen's earlier experience includes roles as a Project Engineer at Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences and Master's Thesis Worker at Lappeenranta University of Technology, along with positions at Fortum Power and Heat and StoraEnso. Kivinen earned a Master of Science and Technology degree from LUT University, specializing in Electricity Markets and Energy Technology.
