Laura Suomi

Laura Suomi has extensive work experience in project management and delivery within the IT industry. Laura is currently working as a Lead Project Manager at Tietoevry since June 2023 and was previously a Senior Project Manager at Tieto from January 2020 to May 2023. Prior to that, Laura held various roles at Capgemini Finland Oy, including Senior SAP Project Manager, SAP Service Delivery Manager, and SAP Project Manager. Laura has strong expertise in leading projects for clients in different industries, with a focus on retail, information, and logistics. Laura also has experience at Fujitsu Computers Oy as a Partner Controller and Spares Operations Team Leader, and at ICL Personal Systems Oy as a Supply Planner, Material Planner, and Material Leader. Laura started their career at KONE, where they completed their Master's Thesis on improving subcontracting quality in R&D.

Laura Suomi earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Industrial Economics from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 1988 to 1994. Prior to that, they completed their Matriculation at Etelä-Tapiola High School from 1985 to 1988. Additionally, Laura has obtained various certifications including ITIL Foundation certificate in IT Service Management from APMG-International, Certified Project Manager IPMA Level C from Project Management Association Finland, Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance, SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Practitioner (SP), and SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) from Scaled Agile, Inc.
