Deanna Nihill is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in education and wellness. Currently serving as a Yoga Instructor at Come As You Are Yoga since March 2019, Deanna also holds a long-standing position as a District Tutor with the Tigard-Tualatin School District, where contributions have been made since September 2007. Deanna earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Chemistry from Lewis & Clark College between 1983 and 1987.

Tigard-Tualatin School District (TTSD) serves part of the suburban Portland metropolitan area including the cities of Tigard, Tualatin, Durham, and King City, as well as the unincorporated communities of Metzger and Bull Mountain. TTSD provides programming from Pre-school to 12th grade with an emphasis on student achievement, equity, talent, and climate and culture. All K-12 students experience personalized digital learning with a focus on critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity, as well as opportunities to experience, college, career, and technical classes, preparing them for success after high school. TTSD hires and retains staff who are catalysts for learning and who nurture a school community where everyone feels safe, valued, and connected.
