Thorold Barker

Thorold Barker has built over thirty years of expertise in business, finance, media, tech, and geopolitics, working in New York and London as a journalist and management consultant. Currently, Thorold serves as a board member for Moelis & Co and Tiger 21, and as a Senior Adviser at AlixPartners, while holding the position of Visiting Fellow at Oxford. Thorold previously held the role of Editor for the Wall Street Journal's EMEA section for a decade, where they also oversaw global live journalism and events, as well as the Heard on the Street column. Thorold began their career at Bain & Company after earning a Master of Arts in Modern Languages from the University of Cambridge.
