Chenyang Shi

Chenyang Shi has had a diverse work experience in the field of data science and scientific research. Chenyang started their career at AbbVie in October 2015 as a Senior Scientist, where they focused on applying machine learning and computational techniques to expedite drug discovery and development. Chenyang worked at AbbVie for nearly six years before joining Tiger Analytics in August 2021 as a Senior Data Scientist. At Tiger Analytics, they quickly advanced to the position of Lead Data Scientist in July 2022. Chenyang's expertise lies in leveraging advanced analytical methods to solve complex problems and drive innovation in both the biotech and data science industries.

Chenyang Shi completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Materials Sciences and Engineering at Tongji University from 2003 to 2008. Chenyang then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics at Columbia University from 2011 to 2015. Recently, from 2018 to 2020, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology.
