Chiranjeevi Kanna

Chiranjeevi Kanna has had a diverse range of work experiences in the field of data science and analytics. Chiranjeevi has most recently served as the Lead Data Scientist at Tiger Analytics since February 2022. Prior to this role, they were a Senior Data Scientist at the same company from July 2019 to February 2022.

Before joining Tiger Analytics, Chiranjeevi worked as a Data Scientist at MBO partners for PwC from February 2019 to June 2019. Chiranjeevi also had a previous role as a Data Science Project at VisTracks from September 2018 to December 2018.

Chiranjeevi gained experience as a Data Scientist Intern at TTX Company from June 2018 to October 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant - Statistics at the University of Illinois at Chicago from September 2017 to May 2018.

Chiranjeevi's earlier professional experience includes a role as an Analytics Manager in the Business Intelligence Unit at Axis Bank from April 2015 to August 2017. Chiranjeevi also worked as a Team Leader and Analytics Intern at JP Morgan Chase & Co, where they achieved a fast-track promotion within one year. During their time at JP Morgan Chase, Chiranjeevi developed a fraud detection tool based on fuzzy logic and Artificial Neural Networks, which helped identify fraudulent payment patterns. Chiranjeevi also contributed to cost optimization efforts, resulting in substantial cost savings for the credit card division.

Chiranjeevi Kanna pursued a Master's degree in Business Analytics at the University of Illinois Chicago, beginning in 2017 and continuing to the present. Prior to this, they completed a Master's degree in Mathematics at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, from 2008 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Chiranjeevi Kanna also obtained certifications in R programming from Coursera in February 2017 and in Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) from Coursera in December 2016.
