Tintswalo Makwakwa

Tintswalo Makwakwa has an extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Tintswalo started their career as a Finance Intern at Cummins Inc. in 2012, where they were responsible for managing supplier payments and dealing with various currencies. Tintswalo then worked as a Procurement Officer at The Competition Commission from 2013 to 2015. At ITHUBA Holdings, they served as an Accountant for a brief period in 2015.

From 2015 to 2016, Tintswalo joined PepsiCo as a Commercial Planner, where they managed the consolidation process for business planning and budgeting. Tintswalo also collaborated with cost center managers in forecasting and decision support. Later in 2016, Tintswalo worked as a Group Financial Accountant at REGIMENTS CAPITAL, managing financial services for the group companies.

In 2017, Tintswalo joined The HEINEKEN Company as a Supply Chain Business Analyst, providing financial analysis and advice to the supply chain teams. Tintswalo also played a role in business planning and improving control processes. Tintswalo left the company in 2019.

Tintswalo Makwakwa completed high school with a matric qualification at DZJ Mtebule Sec School from 2003 to 2007. Tintswalo then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Bcom Accounting at the University of Johannesburg from 2008 to 2011. In 2022, they obtained a CIMA Adv Dip MA from CIMA. Currently, Tintswalo is a membership candidate for ACMA CGMA at CIMA, which they started in 2023.
