Brian Turner

Brian Turner is a seasoned actuarial professional with extensive experience in pricing and analytics within the insurance industry. Currently serving as Managing Director at Howden Re since December 2023, Brian plays a senior role in the Casualty Practice Group and leads product initiatives for Financial Lines. Previously, from June 2013 to August 2023, Brian was the Global Chief Underwriting Officer for Errors & Omissions/Professional Indemnity and Senior Vice President, Head of Global Professional Pricing at AXA XL, overseeing a team of actuaries in pricing and strategic support for global professional products. Prior roles include Head of Pricing at The Navigators Group, Vice President at XL Insurance and Kemper Insurance, and Assistant Vice President at CNA Insurance, along with foundational positions at American International Group and the New York Compensation Insurance Rating Board. Brian holds a BS/MA in Mathematics and Actuarial Science from St. John's University.
