April Hjort

April Hjort is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software and firmware development. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at TigerConnect since December 2020, April previously held the position of Vice President of Research and Development at Critical Alert from July 2014 to December 2020. Earlier roles include Software Engineer at Commtech Wireless and Firmware Engineer at eLutions, among others. April began a career in technology as a Firmware Engineer at Paradyne and has also served as a Senior Software Engineer at Raytheon. April holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of South Florida, earned in May 1998.
