Gareth Derbyshire

Gareth Derbyshire has over 20 years of work experience in the financial services industry. From 2000 to 2008, they worked as a Casework Manager at the Financial Ombudsman Service, where they were responsible for recruiting a team of adjudicators and assistant managers and providing strategic input into process improvements. From 2008 to 2010, they were the Compliance Manager at the Norwich and Peterborough Building Society, where they redesigned the complaints process and developed training to support it. From 2010 to 2015, they were the Head of Compliance UK and Europe at CMC Markets, where they were responsible for compliance policy, execution of the global compliance monitoring programme, and regulatory liaison. From 2015 to 2017, they were the Head of Compliance & MLRO at ETX Capital, where they established compliance and financial crime risk assessments and created and executed a compliance monitoring plan. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Director of Compliance at Executive Compliance Ltd - APCC Registered. Finally, since 2019, they have been the Head of Compliance at TigerWit Group.

Gareth Derbyshire attended Dame Allan's Boys' School from 1981 to 1988, studying History. Gareth also obtained a CISI Diploma in Investment Compliance from CISI.
