Adam Ashenfelter has over 20 years of experience in the field of Machine Learning. Adam began their career in 2000 as a Software Quality Engineer Intern at Tektronix. In 2001, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at Oregon State University, where they implemented classic and novel machine learning algorithms. In 2004, Adam joined CleverSet as a Lead Software Developer, where they built a framework for dynamic Bayesian networks and collaborated with the Air Force Research Labs to build an automated threat detection system for satellites. In 2008, they moved to MyStrands as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2011, Adam co-founded BigML, an ML as a service company, and served as the Chief Data Engineer. In 2019, they joined Tignis, Inc. as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer.
Adam Ashenfelter received their BS in Computer Science from Oregon State University in 2001, following their MS in Computer Science from the same university in 2003.
