Marcos Morales Soto

Marcos Morales Soto is an experienced professional currently serving as the TX Infrastructure Coordinator at Tigo Guatemala since October 2024. Prior to this role, Marcos held the position of Transmission Access Engineer at Tigo Guatemala from August 2011 to December 2024, focusing on the administration of TDM and IPRAN networks via fiber optic and microwave technologies for the transport of mobile services and corporate services. Additionally, Marcos has experience in academia from July 2008 to December 2011 as a lecturer and teaching assistant at Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala, where responsibilities included reviewing engineering student assignments and tutoring in mathematical software. Marcos holds a Master’s degree in Project Formulation and Evaluation from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala, as well as various certifications in telecommunications and network administration from Universidad Galileo.
