Richard Perez has extensive experience in the hospitality and medical fields. At Tiki's Grill & Bar since October 2002, Richard serves as both Bartender and Manager. Richard has been involved with Current Affairs as Bar Lead since February 2000. As the Owner and Photographer at Rick Perez Photography Keely Luke Photographie from February 1999 to March 2012, Richard managed photography services. Additionally, Richard worked at the American Hyperbaric Center from March 2003 to April 2010 as Dive Tech Supervisor, overseeing staff and daily operations while providing treatment and acting as a Dive Tech/Medic.

Tiki's Grill & Bar is Waikiki's locally owned and operated independent restaurant destination. Tiki's provides a casual American and Pacific-Rim menu with flavors of the islands, using fresh local produce. Tiki’s offers lanai seating with beautiful sunsets on Kuhio Beach. The restaurant appeals to residents and visitors alike and draws the late-night crowd with live contemporary Hawaiian entertainment every evening. Tiki's is consistently touted as "the place" for local people to take theirs visitors when they come to Oahu. Since opening in 2002, Tiki's has won numerous awards, including the prestigious Hale Aina Award voted on by the readers of Honolulu Magazine, and the Ilima Award, voted on by readers of the Honolulu Star-Advertiser. In 2012, Tiki's was honored with the "Best Of Honolulu" award from Honolulu Magazine for having the best kids' menu!
