Toni S.

Toni S. has over 15 years of experience in the field of information security and network architecture. They are currently working as the Head of Cyber Security and CISO at tiko Energy Solutions AG since February 2020. Prior to this, Toni held the role of Head of Cyber Security Assurance at Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation from January 2018 to December 2019, where they were responsible for leading a team in implementing cybersecurity measures for a nuclear power plant.

Before joining Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation, Toni worked at CENTER OF EXCELLENCE, L.L.C. from January 2015 to December 2017 as an Information Assurance and Network Security Expert, where they delivered complex projects on cyber security and military communication networks for UAE Armed Forces.

From August 2012 to December 2014, Toni worked at KPMG Oy Ab as an Information Security Specialist, providing consulting, training, and auditing services in various information security and telecommunication domains. They were also responsible for security compliance standards, network security, intrusion detection and prevention, and cyber security situational awareness.

Between September 2010 and July 2012, Toni worked as a Senior Consultant in Security Services at Capgemini Finland Oy. Prior to that, they held positions as a Senior Consultant in Network Architecture and a Consultant in Network Engineering at the same company.

Toni's earliest work experience was as an IT Specialist at IBM, where they worked from December 2005 to October 2006. Throughout their career, Toni has gained expertise in areas such as security architecture design, compliance assessments, network monitoring, and secure facilities design for protecting classified information.

Toni S. obtained an MSc in Communication Networks and Protocols from Tampere University of Technology, spanning from 2000 to 2009. Additional certifications include IELTS Band Score 8.0 from the British Council IELTS in May 2019, GIAC Response and Industrial Defense (GRID) from GIAC Certifications in April 2019, CRISC from ISACA in June 2017, SABSA SCF from The SABSA Institute in April 2015, CISM from ISACA in March 2014, FireEye Systems Engineer from FireEye, Inc. in March 2014, CISA from ISACA in March 2013, CISSP from (ISC)2 in July 2012, CISSO from Mile2 in May 2012, Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) from Cisco in February 2010, CPTS from Mile2 in March 2009, and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) from Cisco in October 2008. Finally, Toni S. obtained a ZCCA-IA certification from Zscaler in March 2021 and is a member of the GIAC Advisory Board since April 2019.
