Daniel Monan

Daniel Monan is an experienced program manager currently serving as the Global Program Manager for Misinformation Detection at TikTok since August 2021. Prior to this role, Daniel held various positions at Dataminr from February 2015 to August 2021, including Senior Manager of Content Operations, where responsibilities included implementing internal tools and optimizing team workflows. Daniel also managed a team of analysts and served as North American Desk Lead, focusing on social media signals intelligence. In earlier roles, Daniel worked as a Project Analyst at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, a Junior Fellow at The Foreign Policy Initiative, and contributed research in various capacities at institutions such as the NYS Supreme Court and Boston College. Daniel holds a Master's degree in Military Strategic Studies from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and a Bachelor's degree in History and English from Boston College.
