Sam Yang is an experienced professional in partnership development and corporate strategy, currently serving as the Agency Partnership Lead for TikTok Shop since May 2022, focusing on country and regional partnerships, key account management, and third-party partnerships. Prior to this role, Sam held the position of Head of Corporate Development at JD.COM, overseeing strategic partnerships and new business lines from January 2020 to July 2022. Sam's prior experience includes serving as Vice President at Jubilee Capital Management, Project Manager at Zino Ventures, and working in Financial Services at KPMG New Zealand. Sam co-founded Middle Earth, a cross-border e-commerce venture, during university studies. Sam holds a Master of Finance from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Marketing from The University of Auckland.
