Terence Fong

Terence Fong is a seasoned product leader with extensive experience in technology and engineering roles. Currently serving as a Product Leader at TikTok since 2024, Fong previously held positions as Lead Product Manager at both Meta and WhatsApp from 2021 to 2023. Fong also worked at AppDynamics from 2020 to 2021, leading efforts in mobile app development and cross-functional team collaboration. As the CEO and Head of Product at 21Squared, Inc. from 2016 to 2020, Fong focused on creating a marketplace for plus-size women's clothing. Earlier experience includes a senior engineering role at KLA-Tencor and a graduate teaching assistantship at Stanford University. Fong holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
