Yansong Gao

Yansong Gao is a Research Scientist specializing in Multimodal Machine Learning at TikTok, a position held since October 2023, focusing on MLLM and VLM pre-training and post-training. Prior to this, Yansong served as a Research Scientist at Tencent from December 2022 to September 2023 and completed a PhD in Computational and Applied Mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania, where studies were conducted from September 2019 to June 2023.
