Ying Sun

Ying Sun is an experienced professional with a strong background in e-commerce and project management, most recently serving as the Ecommerce Strategic Project Lead at TikTok from September 2019 to August 2023, where leadership of project managers was key to driving business growth for TikTok Shop. Prior experience includes the role of Ecommerce Partner Development Manager at TikTok, focusing on cultivating video and livestream commerce agency partnerships, and serving as a Project Management Officer at both TikTok and ByteDance. Ying Sun also has experience in interpretation and translation, working with the TRON Foundation as an In-house Interpreter and Translator, as well as a Freelance Interpreter. Initial career development included a role as a Trainee and Reach Cross-Culture Volunteer with Friends International, facilitating cultural exchanges and events. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Chinese-English Interpretation and Translation from the University of Bath and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Xiamen University.
