Katia Luthi has extensive experience in the game design and level design industry. Katia began their career in 2012 as a Level Designer at Ubisoft, where they were responsible for creating maps on Wii and Wii U, as well as working on motion recognition and the place of the body in video games. Katia also managed their team and trained new Level Designers. In 2013, they became a Game/Level Designer Teacher at SupinfoGame, where they initiated students to Information Design and Level Design. From 2014 to 2015, they worked at Tendo Games as a Game Designer/Level Designer and at Antecime as a Game Designer. In 2016, they co-founded Game Impact and worked as a Co-founder & Game Designer, co-creating an association, organizing game jams, meetups and workshops, and co-creating a game design method focused on intentions and messages. Katia also worked independently in collaboration with SUEZ as a Game Designer, co-creating a board game based on the waste management. In 2018, they began working at Tilak Healthcare as a Game Designer, and at Centre Pédagogique de Malvilliers as a Game Designer & Social Educator, where they supported mental retardation teenagers through varied activities with a ludic approach, designed and created a card game with a teenager, and created an escape-room for teenagers with mental retardation. Katia also worked at RUBIKA SUPINFOGAME as a Teacher in Level Design, teaching Player's psychology and integration in gameplay through player's experience, as well as teaching UE4 to students.
Katia Luthi completed their Master in Game Design & Game Art at SupinfoGame between 2009 and 2011. Prior to that, they earned a CFC Attestation in Information Designer from the High School of Applied Arts between 2006 and 2009.
