Jisk Attema

Jisk Attema currently serves as the Product Owner for Digital Research Support at Tilburg University since June 2024. Prior to this role, Jisk held the position of Programme Manager at the Netherlands eScience Center from June 2021 to May 2024, overseeing project portfolios and advising researchers on utilizing available software and expertise. From April 2014 to May 2021, Jisk was the eScience Coordinator at the same center, leading a team of engineers and managing data-driven research projects. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research Software Engineer and a researcher at KNMI, focusing on regional climate changes. Jisk's career began as a Systems Programmer at SARA Computing and Networking Services and included a PhD in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from Radboud University. Academic credentials include a master’s degree in physics from the University of Groningen.
