Marisa Vavruska

Marisa Vavruska has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Marisa currently holds the position of Vice President at Tilia Holdings, a private investment firm specializing in the "farm-to-fork" segment of the global food system. At Tilia, they partner with middle-market companies in the food supply chain and supports CPG brands. Prior to their current role, Marisa served as Vice President - Manufactured Products at Pritzker Private Capital from August 2022 to June 2023. Before that, they were a Senior Associate at the same company from June 2021 to August 2022. Marisa also has experience in investment banking at Citi, where they worked as an Investment Banking Senior Associate from January 2021 to May 2021 and as an Investment Banking Associate from July 2019 to January 2021. Additionally, they worked as an Investment Banking Summer Associate at Citi from June 2018 to August 2018. Marisa gained pre-MBA experience as an intern at North Coast Angel Fund from March 2017 to July 2017. Marisa started their career as an Experienced Advisory Associate at PwC from August 2014 to November 2016. Marisa also completed an internship at Freedman Consulting, LLC in June 2012.

Marisa Vavruska pursued their education at various institutions throughout their academic journey. From 2006 to 2010, they attended Shaker Heights High School, where they obtained their high school diploma. Following this, Marisa enrolled at Amherst College from 2010 to 2014, completing their Bachelor of Arts degree in Law, Jurisprudence, and Social Thought. To further enhance their educational qualifications, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2017 to 2019.
