Antall Fernandes

Antall Fernandes has held various positions in the engineering and software development fields since 2006. Antall began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Saba, where they won the Saba Excellency Award for their work on high priority projects. In 2010, they worked as a Research Graduate (Intern) at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where they developed a scientific data management system. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Visible Measures as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer, where they streamlined the software development process and redesigned certain core business systems. Since 2015, they have been at Drizly, first as a Staff Software Engineer, then as a Senior Data Engineer, and currently as Director of Engineering. At Drizly, they have focused on data quality, enabled teams to adopt better practices around data generation and consumption, and driven initiatives and processes to scale up engineering teams. Antall has also been the glue between the business and engineering teams to define strategy and drive strategy across 3 engineering departments. Currently, they are the Director of Engineering at Till Financial.

Antall Fernandes obtained a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Florida Institute of Technology between 2010 and 2011. Before that, they earned a Masters Diploma of Science in Computer Science from the Symbiosis Center for Information Technology between 2004 and 2006. Antall also holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Pune University, which they completed in 2003.
