Anna Ku has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Anna is currently employed by the Tillamook County Creamery Association as an R&D Manager since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Product Development Scientist from October 2020 to March 2023 and as a Product Development Scientist from March 2018 to October 2020. Anna also worked as a Research Technologist II from April 2016 to March 2018 and as a Research Technologist from November 2015 to April 2016 at the same company.
Before joining Tillamook, Anna worked at The Dannon Company as an Associate Product Developer from July 2011 to November 2015. Anna also gained experience as a Research Assistant at Rutgers University from September to December 2007, where they assisted in Listeria monocytogenes research and performed technical skills such as gel-electrophoresis and polymerase chain reaction.
Anna's early work experiences include an internship as a Flavor Application Lab Intern at Robertet Flavors from June to December 2007 and as a Research Intern as part of the Taiwan Tech Trek Program at National Taiwan University in Taipei from June to September 2005. Additionally, they participated in the Rapunzel's Super Angel Hair Pasta--IFT Disney Product Development Competition at Cornell University from September 2010 to April 2011 and volunteered as a Pilot Plant Volunteer at Cornell University for a month in October and November 2010.
Anna Ku completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science at Rutgers University from 2004 to 2008. Anna then pursued a Master of Professional Studies degree in Food Science and Technology at Cornell University from 2009 to 2011. In 2018, they obtained a CORe Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online.
