Christine Kuich

Christine Kuich has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Christine began their career as a Customer Service representative at REI in June 2005 and worked there until December 2006. In January 2006, they joined Cal Poly Corporation as part of the Women's Engineering Program, where they planned and organized the first Engineering Days summer camp for high school students. Christine continued in this role until September 2007.

From September 2005 to June 2009, Christine attended Cal Poly State University as a student and graduated in June with a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering. In June 2008, they participated in the Research Experience for Undergrads (REU) program at UC Santa Barbara as a Summer Research Intern. During this time, they collected and analyzed data for the Waite Research Lab, presenting their findings in various formats.

Following their educational pursuits, Christine worked as a Server at Breakfast Buzz from June 2007 to August 2009 and later became a Cafe Manager at Coffee Central, where they worked from October 2009 to March 2012. Christine then joined McConkey Co as a Plastics Engineer in March 2012, a role they held until September 2017. During this time, they also worked as a Production Supervisor at McConkey Company from March 2013 to September 2017.

Currently, Christine is a Project Engineer at the Tillamook County Creamery Association, a position they have held since October 2017.

Christine Kuich studied Materials Engineering with a specialization in Polymers from 2005 to 2009 at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained several certifications: Developing Adaptability as a Manager from LinkedIn in July 2023, Preventive Controls Qualified Individual from the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA) in January 2018, and Global Food Defense & Crisis Management from the Global Food Defense Institute in October 2017.
