Michele Brinkert has a diverse work experience in various roles related to engineering and manufacturing. Michele is currently the Engineering Manager at Tillamook County Creamery Association since 2017. Prior to this, they worked at Basic American Foods from 2014 to 2017 as a Sr. Process Engineer and Process Manager, focusing on water reduction initiatives, process development and improvement, and product development. From 2007 to 2014, Michele worked at DuPont as a Manufacturing Technology Engineer and Production Specialist, where they coordinated production changes, maintenance work, and module curtailments, and also managed LEAN projects. Before that, they worked at BASF in 2006 as a Chemical Engineer, focusing on system performance analysis and process hazard analysis. Michele also had a role as a Project Engineering Co-Op at Archer Daniels Midland in 2005, where they coordinated labor crews and performed analysis for construction projects.

Michele Brinkert attended Michigan Technological University from 2002 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Chemical Engineering. In 2012, they enrolled at the University of Virginia to pursue a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Chemical Engineering. The completion date for this degree is not provided.
