Randy Hulett has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Their most recent role was as the Head of Tiller Community & Product Developer at Tiller, a fintech startup that provides automated personal finance services. Prior to that, they founded Kaboom LLC, where they served as Principal, leading companies in successful product design innovation programs. Randy also worked at Starbucks as the Director of the Hardware Design Studio, where they developed exclusive platforms that reflected the company's brand and product aspirations. Randy co-founded Coffee Equipment Company and served as Board Director and VP Engineering, disrupting the coffee industry with a semi-automatic brewer. Earlier in their career, Randy worked at nLight as a Product Engineer, at Stratos Product Development as a Product Engineer, at Terabeam as a Product Engineer, at Natus Medical Incorporated as an Engineer, at Alere Inc. as an Engineer, and as a Summer Intern at Hitachi Data Systems.
Randy Hulett pursued their education in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from 1992 to 1996. Randy further continued their academic journey at the same institution and acquired a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1996 to 1997.
