April Gelnaw has a diverse work experience in the regulatory and fragrance industry. April started their career in 2004 as a Documentation Specialist at BMS. From there, they moved on to IFF where they worked as a Senior Fragrance Regulatory Specialist from 2005 to 2008. April then joined Ungerer & Company as a Manager of Fragrance Regulatory, where they worked from 2008 to 2011. Following that, they worked at Takasago as a Manager of Fragrance Safety Assurance from 2011 to 2016. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Regulatory Affairs at Tilley Distribution, starting in April 2016.
April Gelnaw's education history includes a Master of Jurisprudence degree in Global food law from Michigan State University, which they obtained between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2008, they attended Temple University School of Pharmacy where they earned a Master of Science degree in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs. Their undergraduate studies were completed at Monmouth University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, General. Additionally, in 1999 and 2000, April studied French Language and Literature at the University of Paris - La Sorbonne, although they did not receive a degree during this period.
