William Fluharty

William Fluharty has had extensive experience in the chemical and plastics distribution industry. William began their career in 1999 as General Manager of Holland Chemical International's Western Region. In 2001, they were promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Brenntag North America. In 2006, they were promoted again to Vice President for Brenntag North America. In 2011, they joined Avantor Performance Materials as Vice President of the Americas, where they were responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies for three business units. In 2014, they joined Univar as Director of Pharmaceuticals and Nutraceuticals, where they were responsible for directing commercial, marketing, technical support, and development functions. In 2017, they joined Nexeo Solutions as Global Business Director, where they were responsible for leading the development of the Chemical Manufacturing Vertical and building out the commercial capabilities. Finally, in 2018, they joined Tilley Chemical Company as Vice President of North America, where they were responsible for developing and leading their Sales and Commercial Teams, as well as the Supplier Relationships and Digital Marketing Departments.

William Fluharty obtained their EMBA in International Management from Hult Ashridge in 2006. William also holds a BS in Accounting with a Minor in Economics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Pitching Yourself from LinkedIn in August 2018.
