Their dissertation was on Knowledge Based High Performance Work Systems: A Case Study in Innovation. Tony also has an M.S. in Management from North Carolina State University, with a thesis on Quality Function Deployment: A Service Application in Human Resource Development. Their primary research focus was on innovation, new product development and quality function deployment. Tony also has a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Virginia Tech College of Engineering.
