Christoph Nicola has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Christoph is the Founder of Tilta since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the CFO & Authorized Signatory at Finiata - Smart cash for smart businesses from 2020 to 2022. Christoph was also the Director of Finance at RatePAY from 2018 to 2019. Before that, Christoph held multiple roles at Ottobock HealthCare, including Head of Strategic Finance PMO and Senior Manager of Corporate Strategy and M&A. Christoph worked at Zalando SE as a Senior Manager in Markets / Region Management, and at Ströer Media AG as the Head of Internal Audit and Senior Development Manager in Corporate Finance / M&A. Christoph also worked as a Liaison Manager in Finance & Strategy at Ströer Out-of-Home Media. Christoph started their career with several internships in strategy consultancy, M&A, and restructuring.

Christoph Nicola has a diverse educational background. In 2004 - 2005, they attended Michigan State University, where they studied Business Administration. Then, from 2002 to 2007, they pursued a Diplom (equivalent to a Master's degree) in Business Administration and Management, General at HTWG Constance. Most recently, in 2019, Christoph enrolled in an Executive Leadership Program at TAM Akademie GmbH.
