Michael Doery has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Michael has held various positions in different companies, showcasing their expertise in finance, accounting, and auditing.

Starting in 2004, Doery worked as a Managing Director at Protiviti Inc., where they provided accounting research guidance and strategic guidance on corporate governance to clients. Michael then became an Independent Consultant/Owner at Michael Doery CPA, where they offered technical assistance to smaller public accounting firms and acted as a Program Management Office (PMO) for a major acquisition.

Doery then worked at BDO USA, LLP as the Director of Assurance Services. Michael provided external audit services to various companies, ranging from start-ups to companies with $800 million in revenues, in industries such as transportation, manufacturing, consumer products, and biotech.

In 2019, Doery started working at Innovative Perioperative Technologies, LLC as the CFO/Controller, where they prepared budgets, provided financial advice, and assessed insurance coverage requirements.

In 2021, Doery took on contract roles at various companies before joining Timber Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as the Corporate Financial Controller.
