Marília Fernandes

Marília Fernandes has had a varied work experience since 2014. Marília began their career at Asia Shipping as an Import Operations specialist, where they were responsible for registering documents into the system and ensuring all data from bills of lading matched perfectly. In 2015, they became an Au Pair in America, where they were responsible for caring for and keeping three children on schedule. In 2017, they joined Bunge as a Trade Operations Specialist and a Domestic Execution Specialist, where they were responsible for managing the stocks of Spain and Portugal's soy crushing plants, as well as informing and negotiating with stakeholders at trading, finance, and operations teams. In 2021, they joined Beacon as a Global Operations Associate, where they acted as the main point of contact to customers, advocated with the internal teams, and closely collaborated with tech, finance, pricing, and business development. Finally, in 2022, Marília Fernandes joined Timberhub as an Operations Associate, where they were responsible for actively connecting buyers and sellers internationally.

Marília Fernandes received a Master's degree in International Business/Trade/Commerce from ESIC Business & Marketing School between 2019 and 2020. From 2013 to 2015, they completed a degree in Negócios Internacionais e Comércio Exterior from UNIMONTE. In July 2022, Marília Fernandes obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from Beacon.
