Kendra Jones

Kendra Jones is an experienced library professional currently serving as Deputy Director and District Manager for Youth & Family Services at Timberland Regional Library District since February 2016. Kendra has a strong background in youth services, having held positions including Children's Librarian at Tacoma Public Library System and Senior Librarian for Early Learning at Fort Vancouver Regional Library. Kendra has also contributed to the American Library Association as a Randolph Caldecott Committee Member. Kendra's skills include providing reader's advisory, conducting storytimes, developing youth programming, and collaborating with community educators. Kendra holds a Master’s degree in Information Resources and Library Science from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from Washington State University.
