Game Programmer at Timberline Studio

Luiz Wendt has diverse work experience in the field of game development and programming. Luiz is currently working as a Game Programmer at Timberline Studio since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Mentor at Mentorama, where they developed a learning plan and recorded a C++ course for the platform. Luiz also helped students and graded their tasks. Luiz also founded WB Educacional in 2021.

From 2019 to 2022, Luiz worked as a Game Programmer at AQUIRIS, where they were involved in various aspects of game development, including backend integration, data management, performance improvements, UI, creation tools, and gameplay-related features such as developing enemies, NPCs, and items.

Before that, Luiz worked at OKL Group as a Game Developer from 2018 to 2019, where they developed an Android SDK and a React Native app. Luiz also worked as a Software Engineer at OKL Group from 2017 to 2018 and was involved in client communication, management, and architectural design.

Earlier in their career, Luiz worked at Atomic Rocket Entertainment as a Game Developer, where they contributed to the development of client projects and authorial games using Unity. One of the games they worked on was nominated for the best VR game at SBGames 2019.

In addition to their game development experience, Luiz has also worked as an Instructor of Algorithm, Data Structure, and Programming in C++ at Unisinos and as a Scientific Initiation researcher at VIZLAB (Multidisciplinary Advanced Visualization Laboratory).

Luiz Wendt attended Unisinos from 2015 to 2019, where they pursued a degree in Technology with a focus on Game Development. In addition to their formal education, in July 2017, they obtained certifications in Cultura Española and Lengua Española from Universidad de Salamanca.
