Shanna Austin

Shanna Austin is an experienced education and county government journalist at Winnemucca Publishing since July 2017, concurrently serving as an Associate Trainer for Time to Teach Inc. since October 2016, where responsibilities include assessing classroom needs and developing strategies for student engagement. As a consultant through Shanna Austin Consulting, Shanna focuses on enhancing teacher-student relationships and improving learning potential. Previously, Shanna worked as a resume writer at Resumes By Tammy and an instructor at El Paso Community College. Early career experience includes teaching high school English at Killeen ISD. Shanna holds a Master’s Degree in Literary Theory from Union Institute & University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
